It took month of planning, dozens of volunteers, hundreds of hours to co-ordinate but in the end it was all worth it. On December 11, 2011 Shine Family Foundation held it’s first own fundraiser. Christmas Around The World features Las Vegas entertainers and Dance troupes who performed all in the name of supporting the families our active military in southern Nevada and our returning veterans.
Among the organizations that turned out includes Las Vegas Academy’s Glee Club, Sin City Entertainment (which included Elvis) and dozens more from our areas ethnic communities.

Between the money raised at Christmas Around The World, and our Yard Sale back in August, for our first year of operations we were able to help 100 families from the various branches of the military including the National Guard.
